Sachin Tendulkar: Master blaster, God of Cricket

April 24, 1973, saw the birth of Sachin Tendulkar in Mumbai, India, into a Marathi family. His father was an author and poet. His name is Ramesh Tendulkar. Tendulkar married Gujarati doctor Anjali Mehta on May 24, 1995. He had initially met Mehta in 1990. After getting married, Anjali decided to give up her medical profession. Tendulkar lives in a bungalow in the Bandra neighborhood of Mumbai.
