A huge number of enthusiasts from all over the nation gathered on July 8 in Odisha's Puri to request the gifts of Master Jagannath to celebrate the momentous day of the Rath Yatra.

The yearly Master Jagannath's Rath Yatra started in Odisha's Puri on Sunday.
The Rath Yatra, also known as the Chariot Celebration, is accepted to be as ancient as the Jagannath Sanctuary in Puri.

President Droupadi Murmu took a portion of the yearly Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri, one of India's significant and eagerly anticipated celebrations.

In conjunction with the President, Odisha Governor Raghubar Das, Odisha Chief Serve Mohan Charan Majhi, and Union Serve Dharmendra Pradhan moreover took a portion of the celebrations.

Usually my prayer,” Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi composed in a post on X.

Agreeing to the Hindu calendar, the celebration is celebrated on the Dwitiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha (waxing moon fortnight) in the month of Ashadh.

The celebration is related to Lord Jagannath, an avatar of Ruler Vishnu, and his kin. Amid the Yatra, the gods Ruler Jagannath, his brother Balabhadra, and his sister Subhadra are carried on wooden chariots from Jagannath Sanctuary to Gundicha Sanctuary in Puri.
